The recent CARR Wildfire has caused severe devastation throughout our community and on behalf of President Ray Ault and the Board of Directors of the Shasta Association of REALTORS® (“Association”), we extend our sincere concerns and well wishes for the health, safety, and welfare of our members and their families during this difficult time. Additionally, we offer our heartfelt appreciation to all of the emergency responders who answered the call to provide fire suppression, medical attention, security, shelter, food, and water, as well as the comfort and reassurance citizens need to endure.
This event will undoubtedly have long term effects on our lives, picturesque surroundings, housing market, and manner in which members conduct business. The first step in mending the brokenness and loss is through the gathering and distribution of information and resources, and our collective goal is to connect our members with the appropriate resources to provide for their basic necessities.
