The 2022 Shasta Association of REALTORS® Nominating Task Force and Chair Mike Rossiter,  proudly announce the candidates for the Board of Directors’ Election for 2022 . . .

Office of President Elect

RAY AULT

With the help of my fellow association members, we have one the best associations in all of California. I wish to continue my contribution by becoming President of the association. I have a good working knowledge of the association’s finances and the issues we continue to face in our community. I believe that I can continue to contribute by applying the knowledge and experience I have gained serving on committees and working in the positions I have held. The goal is to help our members succeed by serving the needs of our brokers and agents. Helping provide you with the assets you need to supply quality services to your clients.

Served as Scholarship committee Chair for 2 years 6 years on the committee

Served as Treasurer for 2 terms

Served on the Grievance Committee for 4 years

Served on the MLS Committee for 4 years

Served on the Pro Standards Committee for 3 years

Served on the finance committee for 8 years

Served on the Legislative committee 6 years

Served on several other association committees as well.

I have helped the Board with the Children’s Christmas party, the Seniors Gift program, the gift collection and delivery for the under privileged at Christmas.

LAURI GIBSON

I’m a full time REALTOR® with Weichert REALTORS®-Domke & Associates and have been with the Shasta Association of REALTORS® since 2006. I have served on the Grievance and MLS Committees over the years and am currently the Chairperson of the MLS Committee. I have had the honor of being the REALTOR® of the Year in 2019 and receiving the Presidential Award in 2021.

In the past I served on the North Cow Creek Elementary School Board for 8 years. During my tenure with that board, I worked with a multimillion-dollar budget and with over 30 employees. Being on the school board taught me to put the best interest of the group that I represent first when making decisions. I feel that my time on the school board and the SAOR committees have prepared me to serve on our association’s Board of Directors.

I enjoy working with other agents to help make our association the best it can be and to improve it in ways that benefit our members now and in the future. After serving on these committees and having been in the business for over 16 years, I feel that I can make a positive contribution as a member of the Board of Directors.

DENISE McDONALD

I am running for the Board of Directors. I have been selling Real Estate since 1991. My tenure in the Bay Area and Shasta County brings an experience that can be shared with the Association. I have always participated in the committees on the board, currently chairing the Professional Standards Committee, and feel it is time to use my expertise in the leadership position. If you want a person who is straight forward and will represent you in the fairest way, vote for me!

KRISTIN MINUGH

I have been a licensed agent since 2005, and a licensed Broker since 2007. I was with Coldwell Banker as a top producer for over 12 years actively selling real estate in our community. Beginning in July of 2022 I opened my own brokerage called Lifestyle Redding / A Real Estate Company. This is an exciting time and I am happy to be doing what I love. I do continuing education and am active in the community doing volunteer work including being a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center and putting on a Fishing Tournament that raised nearly $6000 for One Safe Place's kids camp.

Additionally I have proudly served on committees such as MLS Committee, Education Committee and YPN as well as having been on the Shasta Assn of Realtors Board of Directors for the last 3 years. I hope to be reelected to the Board this term so that I can continue to support our industry in the important role of Director.

Other credentials, I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) as well as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). I have been a member of the Women's Council for real estate.

AARON RODRIGUES

Aaron Rodrigues is a native of Napa, CA. He met his wife Tiffany at Sacramento State in 2002. In 2006 they were married and moved to Redding in 2007. They have four incredible kids: Charlie, Ella, Lena, and Miles. Aaron is heavily involved in his church, the Anderson Church of Christ, where he helps lead worship on a weekly basis.Aaron has been involved with the SAOR since he received his real estate license. First as a member of the grievance committee, then as a member of the pro standards committee. Aaron has been the chair of the programming committee, co-chair of the Young Professionals Network, as well as chair of YPN.Aaron has stated that he wants to serve the real estate community to the best of his abilities. He is running for a seat on the Board of Directors to serve its members and represent them in a manner that matches their needs.

BRETT WAITE

My name is Brett Waite (Anthis)

I received my real estate license in 2004

I sat on the Siskiyou Association of REALTORS® Board as a Director for 8 years starting in around 2008

I was on numerous committees and moved up to treasurer, Vice President, and President (2-year term)

I also traveled as a CAR Board of Director for most of my time as a Siskiyou Association Director.

I was Assistant Regional Chair for CAR in 2017, Regional Chair in 2018 and sat on the Nominating Committee as Past Chair in 2019

I became the Vice Chair of Public Policy at CAR in 2020 and became Chair of Public Policy in 2021

I am currently the Vice Chair of Professional Education and Development at CAR

I have sat on various committees at CAR for over 11 years and am committed to the betterment of our industry.

I am a member of both Shasta and Siskiyou Association of REALTORS®, and I would love to serve on your Board.
